You Love Medicine if You Love Life

by Care, For Men, For Women

It is not unusual for some African Americans to fail to seek medical care in a timely fashion, even when needed.  Some people continue not to believe in modern medicine and do not get appropriate screening for cancer, take medications as directed, get immunizations as recommended, keep follow up appointments, and even with means, will not take advantage of the recommendations of physicians to keep themselves healthy.

I wonder if these people love life.

You have to appreciate the miracles of modern medicine that have their origin with the giver of life, God, if you love life.

Several days ago, I received a call from a lady who wanted to know what could be done about a patient with stage 4 prostate cancer.  Unfortunately, I had to say not much.  This is only mentioned, because, in 2019, there are people who do not believe in modern medicine until it is too late.

Your opinion matters.
