Talking to Millennials in the Barbershop

Talking to Millennials in the Barbershop

by | Care

My pleasant experiences in the barbershop are well documented. My father was a barber and I frequent the barbershop, once a week, for fun and relaxation and look forward to providing free medical advice in an atmosphere of fun and craziness.

These are some health tips that I recently suggested to the brothers:

  • Know your family history. Genetics reveal an abundance of information
  • Consider medical issues, such as hypertension, seriously when informed by the physician.
  • Know that there will be medical issues as you age, checkups are essential, and prevention is the key.
  • Know the difference between medical science and anecdotal care. Black men receive advice from people who have no clue about what they are verbalizing. Consult with your physician for information.
Your opinion matters.
