The Annihilation of African American Males

by Education, For Men

The infractions that the black male is currently experiencing with law enforcement reflect symptoms of a long standing, social phenomenon that has been characteristic in our culture over a hundred years.  The annihilation of these males is the new health disparity of the 21st century that has arrived on the doorstep of America and is alive and very ugly.  The majority community can no longer ignore the problem and act as though it does not exist.

The mentality of some police officers toward African Americans men and the black community is a symptom of a much larger problem experienced in America.  Racism, bigotry, and bias continue to be the major fabric of our society.

The annihilation of black males, in our society, is a very complex issue that has many constructs that the majority and black communities have to confront to eliminate this destructive process.  There is no easy prescription for cure.

Your opinion matters.
